Our History
The College of Physical Education at Tikrit University was established in 2007 as a specialized institution to enhance the university's role in society. It transitioned from a department to a college, marking the academic and scientific development of Tikrit University. The college's first graduating class in 2008 consisted of 26 students who obtained bachelor's degrees in physical education. The college actively engages in various activities, including scientific conferences, seminars, and training courses for sports and youth affairs. It collaborates with educational institutions and sports organizations to promote school sports and the sports movement in Saladin Governorate. Through its initiatives, the college and university demonstrate their commitment to society and its entities involved in sports and youth affairs.

The college aims to prepare specialized scientific personnel in all fields of agricultural sciences to contribute to the improvement and development of food manufacturing, animal wealth, increased plant production, and efficient utilization of natural resources in the region and throughout the country. Additionally, it aims to provide consultancy services in all specialized agricultural fields.
