Our History
The college, situated within the premises of Tikrit University in the Al-Qadisiyah neighborhood of Tikrit, is recognized as one of its constituent institutions. Its inception dates back to the commencement of the 2004/2005 academic year. Currently, the college encompasses three edifices: the deanship building, laboratories, and classrooms, as well as a teaching hospital and consulting medical center. Plans are underway to swiftly conclude the construction of additional college facilities, which will comprise state-of-the-art classrooms, well-equipped laboratories featuring cutting-edge scientific apparatus, a recreational club for students, and a library. At the conclusion of the 2008/2009 academic year, the college joyously celebrated the graduation of its inaugural cohort.
The college endeavors to achieve prominent recognition and establish a strong presence in the field of dentistry at both the scientific and practical levels. It aims to excel in delivering medical, advisory, scientific, and research services to the community. The College of Dentistry at Tikrit University aims to establish itself as a leading institution both in Iraq and globally, with a focus on graduating exceptional dentists who excel in their profession, ethics, and compassion towards humanity. The college is dedicated to delivering comprehensive oral and dental healthcare to all citizens, emphasizing preventive and curative measures. Furthermore, it strives for excellence in equipping dentists with the necessary skills to pursue postgraduate studies and engage in scientific research within their field of expertise and related specialties.
The college aims to prepare specialized scientific personnel in all fields of agricultural sciences to contribute to the improvement and development of food manufacturing, animal wealth, increased plant production, and efficient utilization of natural resources in the region and throughout the country. Additionally, it aims to provide consultancy services in all specialized agricultural fields.

College of Density is a Research College. Students from first-year students to doctoral candidates participate in meaningful research in our labs. Collaborative multidisciplinary signature areas, as well as underlying cross-cutting research themes of density sciences.
