The Office of the University President

The Office of the University President carries out the tasks assigned by the President of the University, given its direct affiliation with him. As the executive and directive body, it is responsible for managing official correspondence between the university presidency and governmental or non-governmental entities inside and outside Iraq. It also oversees the reception of guests and visitors, as well as the scheduling of meetings with the University President.

The office includes the following units:

  • Ministry Mail Unit
  • Confidential Records Unit
  • Website and Internet Unit
  • Special Grades Unit
  • Private Secretariat
  • Follow-up Unit
  • Electronic Archiving Unit
  • Electronic Administration Unit
Duties of the Director of the University President’s Office
  • Coordinating the University President’s appointments.
  • Organizing office operations and maintaining a productive work environment.
  • Managing the entry of deans and directors of administrative and technical units who have meetings with the University President.
  • Following up on urgent correspondence requiring immediate response, as indicated by the President’s notes, with all university departments and colleges.
  • Conducting the annual evaluation of office staff.
  • Notifying college deans of meeting schedules and important directives from the University President that require prompt action.
  • Supervising the work of the Confidential Records Unit.
  • Reviewing incoming and outgoing mail from the University President.
