Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Administrative Affairs Receives the President of Tikrit University and Discusses Ways to Develop the University

Professor Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Abdul-Jameeli, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Administrative Affairs, received in his office on Wednesday morning, 24 December, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, at the Ministry’s headquarters, to discuss ways to develop the university and support the course of its academic, scientific, and administrative advancement.

During the meeting, the current situation of Tikrit University and its future plans aimed at elevating the academic and scientific level were reviewed, in addition to discussing mechanisms for supporting developmental and expansion projects, improving infrastructure, and providing administrative requirements that contribute to enhancing the university environment.

The Undersecretary also reviewed the developments the university has witnessed in recent years, particularly the notable progress achieved in international rankings, its expansion in the fields of high-quality scientific research published in global databases, as well as the constructional and technological achievements that have contributed to improving the quality of education and the services provided to students.

The Undersecretary praised the efforts exerted by the university presidency and its academic and administrative staff, commending the effective role of the university administration in achieving development and raising the academic and cognitive level, and affirming the Ministry’s keenness to support Iraqi universities and provide the necessary facilities that contribute to achieving their strategic objectives.

For his part, the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Undersecretary for the continuous support and follow-up, emphasizing the university’s commitment to continuing work on developing its academic programs, enhancing scientific research, and engaging with international rankings in a manner that serves the educational process in Iraq.
