Tikrit University Organizes an Awareness Seminar on Conscious Driving and Its Social Responsibility

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the University Presidency, in cooperation with the Salahuddin Traffic Directorate, organized an awareness seminar titled “Conscious Driving: From Individual Behavior to Social Responsibility” held at Al-Khwarizmi Hall.

 

The seminar was attended by Professor Dr. Hassan Hussein Ibrahim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Namir Ibrahim, Director of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division, along with a number of faculty members and students.

 

The event featured lectures delivered by several officers from the Salahuddin Traffic Directorate, who discussed the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations, promoting a culture of conscious and responsible driving, and highlighting the impact of individual driver behavior on community safety and the protection of lives and property.

 

The speakers emphasized that driving is not merely a technical skill but a civilized behavior that reflects one’s awareness and respect for the law. They also pointed out the vital role of universities in promoting traffic values and raising awareness of accident risks.

 

At the conclusion of the seminar, a discussion session was held during which the lecturers answered participants’ questions, reaffirming the importance of continued cooperation between the university and the Traffic Directorate to organize awareness campaigns targeting students and the wider community.
