Tikrit University Discusses Ways to Enhance Institutional Accreditation with the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority

Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, chaired a meeting today, Thursday, attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Shanawa Ziyada from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, in addition to several deans and members of the Institutional Accreditation Committee at the university.

The meeting addressed the axes of institutional accreditation and the requirements for its implementation within the university, with a focus on benefiting from Dr. Khalid Shanawa’s expertise in developing approved procedures and standards—particularly those related to updating files, unifying work mechanisms among the colleges, and raising the university’s readiness for obtaining accreditation.

The attendees also discussed future plans for the work of the institutional accreditation committees, followed up on progress rates in the various axes, and emphasized the importance of preparing the educational and administrative environment in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education. They further discussed setting clear timelines for implementation stages and strengthening cooperation among the university’s units to ensure the achievement of the planned objectives.
