President of Tikrit University Receives Salahuddin Police Chief to Discuss Areas of Joint Cooperation

Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, received in his office on Sunday, November 2, 2025, Major General Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Habib, Chief of Salahuddin Police, in the presence of Professor Dr. Hassan Hussein Ibrahim, the University’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Tikrit University and the Salahuddin Police Command to help create a safe and stable university environment that supports the educational and research processes. The two sides also reviewed mechanisms for implementing joint programs in the areas of security awareness and combating negative behaviors within the university community, through organizing seminars and educational workshops for students and staff.

Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf affirmed Tikrit University’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with all state institutions, particularly the security agencies, praising the great efforts made by the Salahuddin Police Command in maintaining security and stability throughout the province.

For his part, Major General Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Habib expressed his appreciation for Tikrit University and its pioneering role in serving the community and producing qualified graduates. He also confirmed the Police Command’s readiness to provide all forms of support and cooperation with the university in areas that benefit students and the academic community.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and strengthening partnership in fields of mutual interest.
