President of Tikrit University Receives Advisor to the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives

Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, received today (Tuesday) Mr. Haitham Al-Mashhadani, Advisor to the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, during an official visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between academic and legislative institutions.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to support the university’s educational and research mission, as well as a number of issues concerning the academic landscape and strategies to enhance the quality of higher education in Iraq. They also emphasized the importance of joint coordination between universities and legislative bodies to develop educational policies and address current challenges.

For his part, Mr. Al-Mashhadani expressed his appreciation for the vital role played by Tikrit University in preparing qualified professionals, affirming the Parliament’s support for initiatives aimed at advancing higher education in the country.

At the conclusion of the visit, both parties expressed their readiness to strengthen continuous communication and exchange expertise in the interest of the public good.
