Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, received in his office a PhD student from the Department of English at the College of Education for Humanities from the Syrian Arab Republic, as part of the “Study in Iraq” program launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The program aims to strengthen academic cooperation and scientific exchange between Iraqi and Arab universities.
During the meeting, the University President welcomed the student, affirming Tikrit University’s commitment to providing a suitable academic and research environment that contributes to the success of her academic journey and helps overcome any challenges she may face. He pointed out that the program represents an important step toward academic openness and enhancing the reputation of Iraqi higher education in regional and international forums.
For her part, the student expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and to Tikrit University’s presidency for the warm reception and the support provided to her. She also expressed her eagerness to benefit from the university’s scientific expertise and to participate in research and academic activities.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Hassan Hussein Ibrahim, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Jassim Abbas, Director of Student Housing Affairs at the university.
