President of Tikrit University Receives a Member of the Salahuddin Provincial Council

Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, received today, Wednesday, Mr. Mahmoud Jassim Al-Hashmawi, a member of the Salahuddin Provincial Council 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the University and the Provincial Council, particularly in scientific and academic fields, as well as the possibility of supporting projects that serve students and the local community. Both parties emphasized the importance of reinforcing the principles of transparency across various academic and administrative sectors, in a manner that contributes to developing institutional performance and enhancing the university’s position as a center of scientific and cultural excellence in the province.

For his part, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Hashmawi praised the university’s pioneering role in serving the community and graduating qualified professionals, affirming the Provincial Council’s support for academic and research activities that contribute to building youth capacities and achieving sustainable development.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Council’s commitment to following up on the university’s affairs and maintaining constant communication, noting that such cooperation represents an important step toward strengthening integration between educational institutions and legislative and service bodies in the province.
