The President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, met on Monday with the members of the Central Committee for Evaluating Institutional Accreditation Reports at the University Presidency, as part of ongoing follow-up on institutional accreditation procedures and the assessment of the level of progress achieved in the university’s colleges and centers.
During the meeting, committee members delivered a detailed presentation outlining the key strengths achieved, the challenges identified, as well as the final conformity percentages reached by the institutional accreditation committees during their field visits to the colleges and centers. They emphasized the achievement of notable progress in the level of compliance with ministerial accreditation standards compared to previous stages.
For his part, the University President praised the significant efforts exerted by the Central Committee, commending its effective role in supporting the university’s path toward achieving institutional accreditation. He also affirmed the University Presidency’s commitment to providing all necessary support and facilities to ensure the success of accreditation programs, in line with academic and national objectives and in a manner that enhances the quality of higher education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, mechanisms were discussed to strengthen joint coordination between the University Presidency, the Central Committee, and the subcommittees in the colleges, as well as to develop practical approaches to address observations and identify gaps, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of institutional accreditation standards and the achievement of sustainable outcomes at the level of institutional performance.
