President of Tikrit University Holds an Extensive Meeting with the Building Coding Committee

The President of Tikrit University, Prof. Dr. Waad Mahmood Raouf, held an extensive meeting today, Monday, December 1, 2025, with the university’s Building Coding Committee to follow up on the implementation stages of the coding project and update data related to university buildings and facilities.

At the beginning of the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of this project in enhancing administrative accuracy and organizing spatial information within the campus, noting that coding buildings represents a fundamental step toward the digital transformation the university seeks to achieve in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The meeting reviewed the committee’s progress during the past period, particularly the completion of verifying the numbers and codes assigned to each building and linking them to a unified database that includes locations, uses, departments, capacity, and available services. The meeting also discussed mechanisms for completing the next phases of the project in a way that ensures unified standards across all university colleges.

The University President commended the committee’s efforts and the achievements made in previous meetings, affirming that the university continues to update its architectural and functional maps and utilize the project’s outcomes to support maintenance work, campus security, resource management, and to facilitate the movement of students, staff, and visitors within the campus.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President directed the need to expedite the completion of the remaining phases and prepare a final report that includes development proposals and the possibility of integrating the system within the university’s electronic services portal.
