President of Tikrit University Holds a Meeting with the Central Committee for Institutional Accreditation

 

 

The President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, held an expanded meeting with the University’s Central Committee for Institutional Accreditation, in the presence of Professor Dr. Hamed Mohammed Saleh, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, and all members of the central committee, at the Secretariat Hall of the University Council.

During the meeting, the current status of institutional accreditation at the university was discussed, along with follow-up on the requirements and standards for accreditation approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meeting also reviewed the stages of progress achieved in this important file and the mechanisms for enhancing institutional performance and academic governance in line with comprehensive quality standards.

During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of the role of the central committee in organizing and unifying the efforts of all colleges and formations, and in completing the requirements of institutional accreditation within the specified timelines. He stressed the necessity of continuous cooperation between the subcommittees and the central committee to achieve the desired goals and to enhance the university’s academic and administrative reputation.

For their part, the committee members reviewed the main challenges and obstacles facing the institutional accreditation process, along with proposals to address them, affirming their commitment to implementing the directives of the University Presidency and working in a spirit of teamwork to ensure achieving institutional accreditation in accordance with the approved national standards.
