President of Tikrit University Follows Up on the Rehabilitation Works of the University’s External Gardens

During an evening tour, the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, reviewed the rehabilitation works of the university’s external gardens, extending from the students’ entrance gate to the faculty entrance leading to the main gate, as well as the adjacent green areas, which represent a cultural and aesthetic façade reflecting the image of the university.

The visit came within the framework of the university presidency’s keenness to present the campus in an orderly and dignified manner, contributing to the provision of an attractive university environment for students, faculty members, and staff.

During the tour, the President of the University directed that irrigation works continue on a regular basis and that evergreen trees be adopted, in addition to coordinating with specialized agricultural teams to monitor the health condition of the plants and address any potential infestations.

The President of the University emphasized the importance of continuing these efforts to preserve green spaces, as they constitute an essential element in improving the university environment and reflect the university’s cultural and civilizational identity.

The rehabilitation and follow-up works are being carried out by the Gardens Unit of the Diwan Affairs Department, as part of a plan aimed at developing and maintaining green spaces in a manner that enhances the aesthetic and environmental character of Tikrit University.
