On the occasion of Christmas and the advent of the New Year 2026, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, extends his sincerest congratulations and best wishes to his colleagues in the academic and administrative staff, to the university’s sons and daughters—the students—and to the Iraqi people and the world at large.
The University President affirmed that the past year was rich with achievements realized through sincere efforts and constructive cooperation by the university’s staff and students. He expressed his aspiration that the new year will mark a milestone for continuing the journey of excellence and leadership in higher education, scientific research, and community service.
He noted that this blessed occasion represents an opportunity to reinforce the values of love, peace, and tolerance emphasized by all heavenly religions. He prayed to Almighty God to bestow security, stability, and goodness upon Iraq and the world, and for 2026 to be a year filled with success, generosity, and prosperity.
In concluding his message, the President of Tikrit University prayed that God grant everyone lasting health and well-being, guide them to achieve their goals and aspirations, and return these occasions to our beloved homeland with further progress, unity, and peace.
