College of Science Holds a Voluntary Exhibition for Sustainable Environmental Development as Part of Entrepreneurship Week at the University of Tikrit

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Tikrit, Prof. Dr. Waad Mahmood Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Abdulkhaleq Alwan Muhimeed, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Science organized this morning the Voluntary Exhibition for Sustainable Environmental Development, as part of Entrepreneurship Week activities and under the slogan:

“Towards a Green University… and a Sustainable Future.”

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Hassan Hussein Ibrahim, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, on behalf of the University President, Prof. Dr. Waad Mahmood Raouf, in addition to a number of the college’s faculty members and students.

The exhibition included a collection of student initiatives and voluntary projects aimed at enhancing environmental awareness and promoting a culture of sustainability within the university campus. It also featured displays of innovative, eco-friendly projects, waste management and recycling awareness programs, as well as initiatives supporting the concept of a “green university” and encouraging responsible environmental behavior among students.

In his speech, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs emphasized the importance of such activities in reinforcing the concepts of entrepreneurship and social responsibility among students. He also pointed out that the University of Tikrit continues to support initiatives that contribute to developing leadership and practical skills, especially those related to sustainability and environmental protection.

Colleges across the University of Tikrit continue to organize various events and activities throughout Entrepreneurship Week, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, developing students’ capabilities, and supporting projects that enable them to contribute to building an aware society capable of facing future challenges.
