College of Science at Tikrit University Holds the 4th International and 6th Scientific Conference Under the Theme: “Purposeful Scientific Research is the Foundation of Sustainable Development”

The College of Science at Tikrit University launched the activities of its 4th International and 6th Scientific Conference on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, under the theme “Purposeful Scientific Research is the Foundation of Sustainable Development.” The event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and supervised by the President of Tikrit University.

The conference witnessed broad participation from Iraqi and Arab researchers. More than 200 research papers were submitted, 140 of which were accepted for presentation across various scientific sessions. The opening also featured keynote lectures, scientific exhibitions, and the honoring of researchers and organizers.

Opening remarks emphasized the importance of scientific research in supporting sustainable development and strengthening the university’s role in innovation, technology transfer, and academic advancement.

The conference continues until 19 November, covering multiple topics, including life sciences, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, renewable energy, climate change, and more.
